Monarch Capital Investments CEO Blake Wilson is dedicated to improving the lives of Jacksonville, Florida-area residents through his charitable contributions and board appointments. Blake Wilson of Jacksonville has served on the boards of the Baptist Health Foundation, the University of North Florida Foundation, the Bolles School and the Boys and Girls Club of Northwest Florida. During his tenure with the school, he endeavored to help develop the Schools Strategic Plan and increase funding and provide opportunities for a diverse group of students.
In 2010, he established a nonprofit organization in memory of his daughter. The McKenzie Noelle Wilson Foundation provides more than 400 children in the Jacksonville area with academic support and safe afterschool activities at no cost. The foundation recently formed a partnership with the Boys and Girls Club of Northeast Florida to connect even more youth to mentoring, tutoring, and other life-changing programs. A similar partnership with an on-the-ground nonprofit in Uganda led to the creation of McKenzie’s Home. The orphanage shelters, feeds, educates, and cares for more than 1OO children.
Mr. Wilson is a 1989 graduate of the University of Utah, from which he earned a bachelor’s degree in business.
